THE MONTH OF LOVE
The month of Love - that's what February is all about.  We had spent many weekends indoors, not on the mountains, skiing or having fun, but recuperating, resting or working.  I just didn't want to spend another weekend inside so we decided to surprise the kids with a random week off during their school holidays.

The secret was well kept until my husband logged on to check something without realising our 8 year old was behind him, reading 'Barcelona' out loud!    They were so excited about catching a flight to Spain, the land of sunshine, tapas, sangria, the architect Antonio Gaudi as well as getting some fresh sea air and a dose of my favourite colours - blue and yellow!
(Note - most of those things were what us parents were hanging out for!)

It's amazing how therapeutic exploring and wandering around the historical streets, taking in the culture and beauty of a city, no matter how big or small can be.  If we are open minded, we can learn so much about the past, appreciate what we have and enjoy the cultures we are immersed in. If you have never been to Barcelona in particular, be prepared to be wowed - La Sagrada Familia is one of the most spectacular works in progress ever, whilst Park Guell is wonderfully artistic with the colourful mosaics throughout the grounds.  The beach is just a beautiful place to recharge your sun deprived body.

It reminded me of my days travelling solo through Europe in 1999 for 4 months.  Carrying my Lonely Planet book, I just went by train, checking out various cities, stopping to eat at random locations and trying to absorb the history of where I was.  Such a wonderful way to explore, learn about yourself and get comfortable in your own skin too!

February - share the Love Month - was also about receiving and giving love from and to my Customers.  I love sharing and networking what others are doing around the world.  So this month, I saw quite a few gorgeous posts made by my Mum Entrepreneur friends, who tagged me in their posts or shared their product pictures with their Instagram and Facebook Followers.

That means so much to me and I really appreciate your doing this.   Thank you so much.  Please feel free to do the same wherever you are - take your products and send me a picture.  I hope to get one soon saying -  'Greetings from China!'

We hope that you will continue on your journey with us at Essentially Lili.  Don't forget to send me your feedback and reviews, to share the love with your family and friends.  Recommendations will receive a 15% voucher for you to use at the shopping cart.   Feel free to share the love with others and let them enjoy the 'little pot of Magic' too!

At Essentially Lili, we look forward to hearing your wonderful stories in 2019.  Much Love, Lili x

Eucalyptus Oil
Eucalyptus Oil

Eucalyptus Oil (salicifolia or globulus) comes from the Fever Tree or Gum Tree, which are native to Australia and the nearby islands and has been used for their medicinal properties.  Historically, it was used to bring pain relief as it could help reduce inflammation as well as assist respiratory conditions.

It has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and pain relieving effects, and helps fight bacterial, viral and fungal infections.  Today it's used in a variety of products from healing ointments, vapor rubs, perfume as well as cleaning products.   Due to its versatility, it's one of those essential oils to keep in your medicine cabinet.

Eucalyptus Oil can help with these:
1. Improve Respiratory Conditions - this includes the common cold, cough or flu, and could be used to help more serious issues like asthma, bronchitis, sinusitis too.
2. Relieves Cough symptoms - Eucalyptus oil works as an expectorant which helps cleanse your body of the toxins and microorganisms that cause you to feel yukky and make you cough.  It helps clear your sinuses, making it easier to breathe when you're nose is running and you're feeling stuffy.
3. Fights off infections - As it is anti-fungal, the Eucalyptus oil can be used to treat bacteria and fungal infections like Candida and toenail infections.
4. Improves Allergies - the components of this oil are anti-inflammatory, which is why it often used to treat seasonal allergies.
5. Relieves Headaches - as Eucalyptus oil can slow down the sinus pressures built up which can ultimately cause pain and tension headaches.  It can assist with boosting mental clarity, relaxing the facial muscles wich can become stressed from the headache symptoms.
6. Bring Pain Relief -  If applied in a carrier oil or balm, it can help reduce inflammation, aches, muscle pain and swelling.

And so much more - from earaches, to insect bites and repelling pests.   Make sure you keep some in your cabinets just in case you need to apply it quickly to bring some instant relief.

Concentration Buddy Inhaler - Adhoc Items
Concentration Buddy Inhaler
Adhoc items - has been introduced on the webpage again.  It's where I make requested products whilst waiting for feedback before changing, improving and getting a label made for it.

This week, I made the Concentration Buddy Inhaler for kids over 8 years of age.  The first ones are currently sent out.   The combination of ingredients are Eucalyptus, Spike Lavender, Ginger, Peppermint, Ylang Ylang and Lemon Essential Oil to assist with concentrating, brain fog and breathing issues like Asthma.  The oils chosen were specific to help kids at school.  I have made  few of these, so if you're interested in getting one, please send me a message to order it online.

Remember that you can Mix and Match what you like.  It's all about your Skin Type vs how young / old you are!   For example, if you have Acne with redness all over your cheeks, then you would look for the relevant product - Evanesce Balm or Vitamin Rich Womens Face Balm, with Magic Serum.  It's also important to ensure that you cleanse at night time.  We have 2 to choose from - Cypress Cleansing Balm or Sunflower Cleanser.

Hopefully the information for this Category makes it easy to find, but if not, just drop me a line and I'll answer you as quickly as possible during work hours.
Also for those that have skin concerns, please check out the latest Blog about Autoimmune issues.  Part 2 is about Dirty Foods.

Have you used your 10% or 15% Recommendation Coupons?  They have an expiry date, so if yours doesn't work, just drop me a line and I'll update it for you.
